4 children found safe after leaving Columbus foster home

Franklin County Kids Companies stated the kids had been reported lacking on Dec. 10.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — 4 kids at the moment are with Franklin County Kids Companies (FCCS) after leaving their foster dwelling on Dec. 9.

FCCS initially stated it appeared the kids had been kidnapped however Columbus police later clarified stated that isn’t the case.

Police stated the kids left the home round 9 p.m. on Dec, 9.

FCCS stated the kids had been reported lacking on the morning of Dec. 10 after a evaluation of safety digital camera footage on the dwelling from the evening earlier than.

Columbus police stated the house is close to East Welch Avenue and South Excessive Road.

The kids had been situated on Sunday on the west aspect of Columbus by patrol officers and returned to the custody of FCCS. 

Police say all 4 kids are secure and the investigation is ongoing.

The kids’s names and descriptions are:

  • Jamarion Ball, age 12, brown hair, brown eyes, 5’1″ tall, weighs 96 kilos, was final seen sporting a black jacket, grey hoodie, denims and carrying a backpack
  • Justice Baldwin, age 10, black hair, brown eyes, 5’6″ tall, weighs 80 kilos, was final seen sporting a multi-color hat and lightweight grey coat, carrying a backpack
  • Journey Ball, age 4, black hair, brown eyes, 3’6″ tall, weighs 42 kilos, final seen sporting a pink coat
  • Royalty Ball, age 2, black hair, brown eyes, 3′ tall, weighs 35 kilos, final seen sporting a leopard print coat
