The Parma Police Department is investigating today after a group of teenagers led officers on a chase Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the incident happened near West 130th Street and Brookpark Road when police attempted to stop a stolen 2006 Buick Lacrosse. After the driver refused to stop, members with the Parma Police Department were lead on a short pursuit in which the driver of the stolen vehicle crossed more than 80 miles per hour.

Due to the high speeds reached during the chase, the officers terminated the pursuit and followed in the direction of the stolen vehicle.

Just one minute later, the responding officer located the Buick Lacrosse at the intersection of West 130th Street and Bellaire Road, following a crash with another vehicle.

Three suspects were arrested on the scene while a fourth was arrested following a short foot pursuit.

Two 16-year-olds from Lakewood, a 15-year-old from Brook Park, and a 17-year-old from Cleveland have been identified in this crime.

This case will next go to the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court.
