MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — Police in Maple Heights are continuing to investigate what led to a 5-year-old boy dying after they say he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
It was around 11:49 p.m. Tuesday night when officers with the Maple Heights Police Department were dispatched to scene in the 19700 block of Maple Heights Boulevard along with the Maple Heights Rescue Squad.
The Maple Heights Police Detective Bureau is investigating the situation with the help of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
