CLEVELAND — Every sixth month of the year, Pride month is nationally recognized, honoring members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) community.
“Pride is a time to recall the trials the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) community has endured and to rejoice in the triumphs of trailblazing individuals who have bravely fought — and continue to fight — for full equality,” the proclamation read.
In the days that followed, as a sponsor of “Pride in the CLE” WKYC aired a special broadcasting of the event.
In hopes of advancing of the conversation, Wednesday night, we presented our latest A Turning Point panel discussion focused on our Northeast Ohio LGBT community and the new school that just opened inside the Center, School of One.
