Air Quality Advisory issued in Northeast Ohio

Air quality advisory issued for several Northeast Ohio counties

CLEVELAND — Heads up!

The National Weather Service (NWS) of Cleveland on Sunday issued an Air Quality Advisory for several Northeast Ohio counties, beginning at midnight and expiring 24 hours later.

Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties are all currently included in advisory and are encouraged to follow tips put out by the NWS.

The weather agency offers suggests driving less, turning off your car engine if it’s not in use, refilling your gas tank after sunset and waiting to mow your lawn until after the advisory has ended.

The NWS of Cleveland also suggests visiting gohiocommute.com/NOACA to find alternative travel options.
