Bachelor in Paradise is set to begin filming any day now, and an official host still hasn’t been announced. Here are the most likely candidates.
Bachelor in Paradise is set to begin filming very soon, and fans still don’t know who the host of the new season will be. With Chris Harrison’s place in the franchise still up in the air, it’s anyone’s game at the moment. There are a few standouts who many fans think could be the hosts when the Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants hit the beach this summer.
Chris Harrison wrongly defended Rachael Kirkonnell’s attendance of an Old South party during Matt James’s season of The Bachelor, which led to his break from the franchise. His hiring of a powerful entertainment lawyer could mean he is unwilling to lose his hosting job permanently. However, things don’t look like they will be settled in time for him to return (or be fired) before Bachelor in Paradise. Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will be hosting Katie Thurston’s upcoming season of The Bachelorette, but they are not officially slated for Bachelor in Paradise. Below are the people rumored to be the hosts of BIP so far.

3 Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe
Even though Tayshia and Kaitlyn have not officially been announced as the hosts of Bachelor in Paradise, it is a common theory among fans that the two will take on the job. It would make sense, especially if producers liked the way they ran Katie’s season of The Bachelorette. It would be convenient for producers to transition into a new season with them now that they know the ropes. With Kaitlyn Bristowe recently engaged to Jason Tartick and Tayshia Adams still going strong with her fiancé Zac Clark, there’s no reason not to let Tayshia and Kaitlyn continue running the show for a little while longer.
2 Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti
Jared and Ashely met on Bachelor in Paradise and are now one of the franchise’s successful married couples. Fans think they could be potential hosts since they have some experience – they usually guest host a date or two on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. The rumors amped up recently when Ashely posted a vague message to her Instagram Story. In a photo of Jared holding a puppy she wrote, “We know we need a kid…that may not happen this month…I’ll explain later LOL.” Some fans took this to mean that they could be spending the month hosting Bachelor in Paradise in Sayulita, Mexico.
1 Wells Adams
According to @bachelordirttt on Instagram, “Rumor has it that Wells Adams will be replacing Chris Harrison as the new host for Bachelor in Paradise…” It’s true that rumors have been circling that Wells could very well be the host of BIP. He has been the bartender on Bachelor in Paradise for the last three seasons. As the bartender he often provided a listening ear to contestants and offered his own advice. He could easily transition from bartender to host. The fact that he’s engaged to Sarah Hyland might also appeal to the producers, although Wells made it clear that he is not interested in a Paradise wedding.
The rumor mill surrounding who will host season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise won’t slow until an official announcement is made. After audiences missed out on last year’s season due to COVID-19, the anticipation for this season is off the charts. The season is set to premiere on Monday, August 16. The announcement of who will host the season could come at any moment, so stay tuned.
