Animal Crossing’s International Museum Day Stamp Rally Explained

Animal Crossing International Stamp Rally

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is celebrating International Museum Day with Stamp Stations inside the island museum, and players can collect each one.

International Museum Day has arrived in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and includes a limited-time event for fans to engage in. This year, players can join the museum Stamp Rally and collect stamps at Stamp Stations located inside their island’s museum. New Animal Crossing: New Horizons players will want to make sure their museum is built so they can join in on the fun before the month is over.

The Stamp Rally will be available for Animal Crossing: New Horizons islands from May 18th to May 31st. The new seasonal event replaced the International Museum Day event from 2020, so players will no longer be able to access it when traveling back in time in ACNH. After hearing the morning announcements from Isabelle that include the start of the Stamp Rally event, players will want to head to their museum to speak with the knowledgable owl Blathers to begin their hunt to fill their Stamp Cards.

Snagging stamps for the Stamp Cards will require a tour of the museum once players have activated the event through Blathers. To collect stamps, players will need to visit 3 Stamp Stations in each of the exhibits of the museum. All that is required to get the stamp is interacting with the Stamp Station. For fans who have finished their Animal Crossing: New Horizons museum, this is an awesome opportunity to revisit each of the exhibits, and admire the collection they have put together.

Animal Crossing Stamp Rally Participation Comes With A Prize

International Museum Day from Animal Crossing: New Horizons

After completing each card for the Fish, Bugs, Art, and Fossil exhibits, players can speak to Blathers to collect a total of four prizes. After collecting all 12 stamps, players will have completed the Stamp Rally event for the day. However, this doesn’t mean the event is over. The Stamp Rally can be repeated, with the Stamp Stations changing locations throughout the museum. Despite this, the prizes players can earn will not be changed up, so the same Animal Crossing items will be received after each completion of the Stamp Cards.

The prizes players can win during the Stamp Rally event include the Fish Plaque, Bug Plaque, Fossil Plaque, and Art Plaque. The plaques are a type of decoration that can be mounted on walls, or sold for 2,500 Bells. While the decorations are a fun way to show participation in the 2021 International Museum Day Animal Crossing event, some players may have been hoping for prizes like themed wallpapers, outfits, or furniture instead. Despite this, the Stamp Rally is a great way to engage in the local Animal Crossing: New Horizons museum, and appreciate the collection of artifacts inside.
