BEXLEY, Ohio — Bexley Metropolis Colleges would require college students and workers to double-mask when in-person studying resumes later this month.
The district made the announcement on Thursday after evaluating the Facilities for Illness Management (CDC) tips in regard to masks.
The analysis staff for the district stated they reviewed a number of masking protocols and decided which choices would supply safety equal or superior to double-masking.
College students and workers could have 4 choices for masks when lessons resume on March 23:
- A disposable masks beneath a fabric masks.
- A single 3-ply disposable or 3-ply fabric masks paired with a “masks fitter.”
- A single KN95 or N95 masks.
- A single 3-ply masks constructed from non-woven, high-efficiency filter materials.
The district stated it intends on buying two 3-ply masks (in accordance with the fourth choice) for every pupil with CARES Act funding. These masks might be distributed to college students on the primary day again to class.
