Cuyahoga County to provide updates on Phase 1B of Ohio’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout

CLEVELAND — As Cuyahoga County continues to obtain the primary doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, well being officers have introduced that they are going to maintain a three p.m. press convention on Thursday to handle the rollout of Part 1B. 

The press convention shall be lead by Cuyahoga County Board of Well being Commissioner, Terry Allan. 

Earlier this week, Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson introduced that the town had obtained 6,500 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to this point, however as of Tuesday, had solely given out 1,767 doses.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine laid out the main points of Part 1B earlier this month throughout one among his 2 p.m. press conferences.
