During Week 9 of Fortnite Season 6, players can earn XP for completing actions in the Storm, activating rifts, and interacting with wildlife.
As players get closer to the end of Fortnite Season 6, they will likely want to begin completing more Quests to level up and max out their Battle Pass and unlock all the available cosmetics and variant styles. One of the fastest and easiest ways to earn XP toward the Season 6 Battle Pass is to complete Epic Quests throughout the season and complete every Tier of the weekly Legendary Quest. More Epic Quests are added weekly in Fortnite, but players can complete these any time throughout the season. Legendary Quests are a bit more time-sensitive, expiring at the end of the week with each new update. Legendary Quests take place in five stages, called Tiers, and completing each Tier earns the player more XP than even an Epic Quest rewards.

During Week 9 of Fortnite Season 6, players will need to engage with nature around the Fortnite map and deal with some intense weather patterns. This week’s quests center around wildlife and the Storm. Many of the available quests can be completed during a normal match, though players may want to select Team Rumble for a better chance at completing the challenge without being hassled by opponents. Each Epic Quest will earn players 24,000 XP toward their Season 6 Battle Pass. Here’s every Epic and Legendary Quest available during Week 9 of Fortnite Season 6.
Every Epic and Legendary Quest in Week 9 of Fortnite Season 6
As they have been for most of the season, many of the Epic Quests available during Week 9 of Fortnite Season 6 are fairly straightforward and should not take players long to complete. Many can even be completed in the same match if players prefer to maximize their efficiency. The Week 9 Epic Quests are:
Several of the challenges taking place in the Storm can be completed at once. As an added bonus, if players purchase and use a Rift to get out of the Storm once they’ve gained health and used a Shockwave Grenade on themselves, they may be able to get back to safety and still have a chance at securing a Victory Royale.
Some of these challenges take place at more specific locations. For example, players can only purchase Rifts from a select group of NPCs that includes Bunker Jonesy, Rebirth Raven, and Willow, and they will only find Chickens at the farms in and around Colossal Crops. It may be easier for players to complete these in separate matches.
The Legendary Quest tasks players with catching a number of fish from the bodies of water around the island. The number of fish players must catch to clear each Tier, and the XP rewards are:
- Tier 1: Catch 50 Fish (35,000 XP)
- Tier 2: Catch 100 Fish (24,500 XP)
- Tier 3: Catch 150 Fish (24,500 XP)
- Tier 4: Catch 200 Fish (24,500 XP)
- Tier 5: Catch 250 Fish (24,500 XP)
Players will need to select a fishing spot, find a fishing rod in a barrel nearby, and start reeling in as many fish as possible each match to complete this quest.
It is always a good idea to try and complete Fortnite‘s Epic and Legendary Quests in Team Rumble mode. This tends to be a less crowded game mode, allowing players opportunities to complete quest activities. Fishing in particular tends to be easier in Team Rumble, with fewer opponents looking to grab easy kills while players are paying attention to the water.
