Fines, jail time for airline passengers who ignore crew: FAA

There have been a number of incidents of unruly passengers aboard flights leaving the Washington, D.C., space in latest days, and now the pinnacle of the Federal Aviation Administration is threatening to “pursue robust enforcement motion towards anybody who endangers the protection of a flight.”

Administrator Stephen Dickson says he expects passengers to observe directions from airline crews. He notes that the penalties for interfering with crews vary from fines to jail time. The Washington Put up reviews fines might attain $35,000.
