Fort Bliss soldier Asia Graham found dead



Pfc. Asia M. Graham, 19, from Cherryville, North Carolina, was first discovered unresponsive and later pronounced lifeless by Fort Bliss personnel.

FORT BLISS, Texas — An investigation is underway after a younger Fort Bliss soldier was discovered lifeless in her barracks room on New 12 months’s Eve.

Pfc. Asia M. Graham, 19, from Cherryville, North Carolina, was first discovered unresponsive and later pronounced lifeless by Fort Bliss Division of Emergency Companies personnel, in response to officers.

Graham, a soldier assigned to the first Armored Division, was a Human Useful resource Specialist who joined the U.S. Military in July 2019 from Charlotte. Fort Bliss was her first obligation station. 

Graham arrived to Fort Bliss in December 2019 after finishing Fundamental Fight Coaching at Fort Leonard Wooden, Missouri and Superior Particular person Coaching at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. She was assigned to the 1-501st Assault Battalion, 1st Armored Division Fight Aviation Brigade.
