Gov. DeWine and Mayor Andrew Ginther to hold joint press conference on potential protests this weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Gov. Mike DeWine, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther and Columbus Police Chief Thomas Quinlan will maintain a joint press convention Thursday morning to debate the potential protests this weekend on the Ohio Statehouse.

Maj. Gen. John Harris of the Ohio Nationwide Guard and Superintendent Col. Richard Fambro of the Ohio State Freeway Patrol may even communicate on the presser convention.

This comes after the FBI says there may be credible data that armed protests are being deliberate on the state capitol of each state after President Trump supporters stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.

President Donald Trump was impeached by the Home of Representatives on Wednesday and is charged with “incitement of rebel” over the riot.
