Horse put down after car crashes into buggy in Amish Country



BERLIN, Ohio — A horse needed to be put down on Saturday after a automobile hit a horse-drawn buggy in Holmes County on Saturday morning. 

In response to Ohio State Freeway Patrol, a grey Subaru Impreza struck the horse and buggy from behind on Somerset Drive (Township Street 359), after which continued driving onto US Route 62 in Berlin. 

The motive force of the buggy was not harm, however officers say that the horse needed to be put down on the scene.  

Officers consider that the Subaru may have some harm to the precise entrance bumper and panel. 

Ohio Freeway Patrol says there’s a video of the Subaru fleeing the scene, however they’ve but to determine the car or its driver. A small silver sport-utility automobile was additionally seemingly following the Subaru after the accident.
