Parton’s literacy program has impacted hundreds of kids throughout the USA and the world.
CLEVELAND — In honor of Dolly Parton’s 75th birthday, Literacy Cooperative is thanking the music and literacy famous person for all her work in educating the youth of America.
Parton’s program, the Dolly Parton Creativeness Library (DPIL), sends free books to youngsters from the time they’re born, during school-age.

Literacy Cooperative spoke with one household about how the Creativeness Library has impacted them, and what it means to have been part of this program.
“The DPIL books are so wealthy and various. It’s a good way for youngsters to study completely different pursuits like journey, counting, and animals,” stated Caressa Joyce.

Literacy Cooperative instructed 3News that as of January 2021, there are greater than 25,000 youngsters in Cuyahoga County enrolled within the DPIL, with the chance to broaden to as many as 50,000 within the coming years.
