Most-Followed Coaches, Ranked By Instagram Followers

Discover which coaches from The Voice have the highest number of followers on Instagram. Ranking the most popular The Voice coaches per IG followers.

The fans have now gotten used to the coming and going of high-profile coaches on The Voice, and some of them were understandably much more popular on social media than others. When this reality competition premiered on NBC in 2011, the original lineup of coaches consisted of Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, CeeLo Green, and Christina Aguilera. But as the seasons went on, several other successful and talented musicians would go on to join The Voice as either coaches or part-time advisors.

With The Voice season 21 now confirmed for late 2021, the show has officially surpassed its first decade. The upcoming cycle will once again feature mainstay coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend in their red, rotating chairs, but this time, the series will feature none other than Ariana Grande as a full-time coach. So, it’s time to look back at all of the stars who were featured on the show and find out who are the most-followed coaches on Instagram.

4. Nick Jonas (30 million followers)

Nick Jonas has been a coach on The Voice two times: seasons 18 and 20. Both times, Nick replaced Gwen Stefani as she chose to take a season off the show. Alas, Nick Jonas is still the fourth most-followed coach in the history of The Voice, with a total of 30 million followers on his Instagram profile.

3. Shakira (70 million followers)

Newer fans might not remember Shakira as a coach on The Voice given that her appearances took place in seasons 4 and 6. On the other hand, Shakira is still very much a big part of this franchise, and she also happens to be the third most-followed The Voice coach on Instagram. As of this writing, the Colombian popstar has 70 million followers on Instagram.

2. Miley Cyrus (130 million followers)

Miley Cyrus is yet another two-time The Voice coach, having appeared on the show in seasons 11 and 13. The “Party In The U.S.A.” and “Midnight Sky” singer has 130 million followers on Instagram at the moment, making her the second most-followed coach in history. It is unlikely that Miley will return to The Voice anytime soon, but she’ll always be remembered by the fans.

1. Ariana Grande (233 million followers)

When she joins The Voice season 21 for the first time ever, Ariana Grande will also become the most-followed coach of all time on the show – and it’s not even close. At this point in time, Ari has 233 million followers on Instagram, which is a hundred million more followers than Miley Cyrus in the second-place spot. Needless to say, Ariana Grande joining The Voice will be a very significant landmark for the series as a whole.
