EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — Editor’s notice: Video on the prime of this story is from when NELA Park flipped the swap on Dec. 6, 2019.

The vacation season is upon us, and NELA Park in East Cleveland, GE Lighting’s World Headquarters, is getting ready to showcase their new show for 2020.

Officers will flip the swap to light up the 500,000 LED lights on Friday, Dec. 4. The lights stretch alongside Noble Street for a number of blocks, and can stay lit via Jan. 4, 2021.

“The show contains a collection of eight colorfully lit vignettes,” organizers stated in a press launch.

The theme for this show is “Magic of Lights.”

2020 marks the 96th 12 months for NELA Park’s vacation traditions.
