Again, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, and Dibakar Banerjee are coming together with another Netflix show “Ghost Stories”. After the long wait, the final announcement of Ghost Stories release date made by all directors today through the video clip by Netflix India. Yes, the Ghost Stories has set to release at the New Year’s Eve as on 1st January 2020. So while everyone is busy doing a party with friends, you can watch the Ghost Stories at your home after 12 am IST.

So, your new year will start with four amazing Ghost Stories from Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, and Dibakar Banerjee who already worked on 2013’s Bombay Talkies and 2018’s Lust Stories. Everyone praised them a lot. So, then Ghost Stories producer Ronnie Screwvala’s production banner RSVP, and Ashi Dua Sara of Flying Unicorn Entertainment, a producer on both previous anthologies said that “many more stories and sequels from India”.

Ghost Stories is among one of the 10 new Netflix original movies from India. About the Ghost Stories, director Kashyap says that there will be monsters and supernatural elements while Banerjee says “about things that are not really human”. So we are excited for the stories as great talent worked for the Ghost Stories.

Talking about the cast of the Ghost Stories, we would like to tell you that Janhvi Kapoor (Dhadak), Sobhita Dhulipala (Made in Heaven), Mrunal Thakur (Love Sonia), Vijay Varma (Gully Boy), Gulshan Devaiah (Hunterrr), Raghubir Yadav (Peepli Live!), Avinash Tiwary (Laila Majnu), Surekha Sikri (Badhaai Ho), Sukant Goel (Ribbon), and Internet star Kusha Kapila are part of the Ghost Stories cast.

Here’s what Screwvala had said “The overwhelming success of Lust Stories — which still has people talking about it a year after it launched — made us want to repeat the magic with our second anthology called Ghost Stories. With Netflix, we have a partner who complements the strain in RSVP’s DNA — to lean into risk when it comes to bold content narratives and creative freedom.”
