It has been 24 years since the first Pokémon video games released in Japan with Red and Green. So the February 27 is celebrated as the Pokémon Day, and the company will announce the “Pokémon Of The Year” on the Pokémon Day.
Since the release of augmented reality game Pokémon Go in 2016, people loved the game a lot as well as loved every Pokémon, including Pikachu is the series mascot, Slowpoke has a real banger of a theme song, and Eevee got a starring role in Pokémon. There are dozens of monsters in the game with different powers and skills. So it won’t be easy to choose the one as the best “Pokémon Of The Year.”
To give the fair chance to vote, Nintendo-The Pokémon Company International collaborated with the search giant Google to host online voting. So it will be the considerable level of online voting on Google.com. When you search “Pokemon Vote” on Google.com, you will be able to choose from “from all those discovered up through Pokémon Sword and Shield” — specifically National Pokédex No. 001-890. Here you can select one of your favorite by region. You will have to click the “Sign In To Vote” button to vote for your favorite Pokémon of the year.
There will be a total of eight choices available to choose which are below:
- Unova / Unys / Unima / Einall / Teselia
- Galar, etc.
You can select any of the above option and then select on from a number of Pokémons. There will be only one vote for the category, but you vote one per category once a day. The poll will run until 8:59 AM ET on February 14th. So you have enough time to vote for your loved one, Pokémon, and you have eight days to eight votes.
There will also be other voting or promotions that start from February 25 in Pokémon GO and end March 2. So please keep your eyes on the Pikachu, Eevee, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle this festival season to catch them from 7km Eggs. You will also see Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise as a Special Pokémon clone in Raid Battles. Every day you will get two special trades to complete.
