GATES MILLS, Ohio — A horse from Gates Mills, Ohio, helped the United States take home the silver medal in team dressage at the Tokyo Olympics.
Entering the Tokyo Olympics, Lyle and Salvino had been undefeated in competitions, including the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (Florida) and the Tryon International Equestrian Center (North Carolina), according to ChronOfHorse.com. In June, they qualified for the Tokyo Olympics by placing first at the U.S. Dressage Olympic Shortlist Mandatory Observation Event.
