The Cleveland Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that killed a 30-year-old Brooklyn man.
Police responded to East 36th Street and Chester Avenue for a two-car crash on Wednesday just after 6:30 p.m. Very few details are know about the crash.
The victim was transported to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where he later died form his injuries. There is no word at this time if the other driver sustained any injuries.
Cleveland Police Patrolman’s Association President, Jeff Folmer, confirmed to 3News that the victim has been identified as Cleveland Police Dispatcher, Alex Martinez Jr. According to Folmer, Martinez had only been on the job two months.
