Richland County deputy shot, suspect killed in Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Ohio — A capturing suspect is lifeless after authorities say he opened fireplace, hanging a Richland County sheriff’s deputy late Thursday evening.

Authorities say it occurred as two deputies have been requested to verify on the suspect round 11:16 p.m. within the 1100 block of Lexwood Street in Mansfield.
