Though Rick did not elaborate additional on his emotions about Terry within the track, many have assumed that the rapper was referring to latest feedback that the actor made concerning the Black Lives Matter motion. In his feedback, he prompt that the motion may create extra racial disparity and ultimately result in a Black supremacy motion.

Since he first posted his feedback, the Brooklyn 9-9 actor has confronted a wave of backlash from activists who consider that he has misinterpreted what the Black Lives Matter motion stands for.
