Rockefeller Center Christmas tree arrives; lighting December 2

NEW YORK — A 75-foot Norway spruce has arrived at New York Metropolis’s Rockefeller Heart to function one of many world’s most well-known Christmas timber.

NBC’s “As we speak” present confirmed the tree being trucked in Saturday morning. The tree might be adorned over the approaching weeks. It was donated by Al Dick of Daddy Al’s Common Retailer in Oneonta in central New York.

NBC says it is broadcasting the tree-lighting at 7 p.m. on December 2.

No in-person spectators might be allowed this 12 months due to the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic has spurred the cancellation of different New York vacation customs together with the Radio Metropolis Christmas Spectacular.
