Either you can say Galaxy S20 or S11; Samsung will reveal its upcoming flagship phone this year as a Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S11. As we know that the final of Samsung’s Unpacked Event is coming nearby, people are talking a lot about the upcoming Samsung devices. So here we are with some of the expected features of Galaxy S20 or S11.
We know that Samsung will hold the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 11th in the US, where they will announce its three new flagship devices named Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. We can also expect the release of the Galaxy Z flip.
Let’s talk about Galaxy S20 features.
According to the leak from the XDA users, the Galaxy S20 Plus will have the super-fast 120Hz refresh rate, which will provide the smoother animation then the current devices. It will use a faster refresh rate with the lower FHD+ resolution, and the higher-res WQHD+ setting will only work at 60Hz.
The size of the devices will be bigger compared to previous models as the latest leaks from the Ishan Agarwal at MySmartPrice suggested that the S20 will have a 6.2-inch display and 6.7-inch S20 Plus. Along with that, the S20 Plus will have a more extensive battery of 4500mAh. Well, the design of the device would be the same as the previous device.
It’s not clear from the company about the use of or Qualcomm’s new second-generation 3D Sonic Max sensor in Galaxy S20 devices, but we can expect it. Also, both devices would feature the ultrasonic fingerprint reader just like the previous device. Some rumors also claim that the Galaxy S20 device will sadly forgo the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Talking about the Galaxy S20 ultra, the device will have a 120hz 20:9 panel, but it will have a giant 6.9-inch display larger than Note 10’s 6.8-inch. Also, the battery life would be a huge 5000mAh with the upgraded up to 16GB RAM.
We will see the most advanced camera in Galaxy S20 Ultra as we are expecting five lenses with four rear cameras and a front-facing hole-punch selfie camera. But S20 Ultra to have a 108-megapixel sensor and the new upgrade to combined zoom of up to 100x, which is called as “Space Zoom.” Some leaks hinted that the device would have a 48-megapixel telephoto lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 3D ToF sensor on the back. The front camera will have a 40-megapixel sensor.
All three Samsung Galaxy S20 models will support 5G technology in the US and also have Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 865 chipset. But other than the US, Samsung will use Exynos 990 processor and offer 4G and 5G variants in S20 and S20 Plus while S20 Ultra with 5G.
Considering all these features of Samsung’s upcoming device, we cannot expect the lowest price. So XDA’s Max Weinbach claims that the new Galaxy S20 modes price will start from S1300.
Assuming the leaks are accurate, all this would add up to making the S20 Ultra the biggest, most potent phone Samsung’s ever made. Those specs won’t come cheap, though, with XDA’s Max Weinbach claiming that the phone will cost $1,300.
Also, the company will announce the next-gen Galaxy Buds, which will be called Galaxy Buds Plus. The new Buds will be similar to the previous one, but will have double battery life and improved active noise isolation technology. The leaks Evan Blass claimed Samsung would provide free Galaxy Buds Plus one the purchase of Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra.
