Sharon Stone is looking for love on Bumble. But the 61-year-old had a bit of a mishap after her account was apparently deleted by the app. Some users of the app thought it was a fake profile. “I went on the Bumble dating sight and they closed my account,” the Basic Instinct actress tweeted. She also added “Some users reported that it couldn’t possibly be me! Hey Bumble, is being me exclusionary? Don’t shut me out of the hive,” alongside a screenshot from the popular dating app with a message declaring “you have been blocked.”

Fortunately for Sharon, Bumble took the matter seriously and quickly reinstated her account. “There can only be one Queen Stone. Looks like our users thought you are too good to be true. We have made sure that you won’t be blocked again” the site replied on Sharon’s tweet. They also added, “We hope that everyone in our community takes a sec to verify their profiles.” Bumble’s editorial director, Claire O’Connor also reached out to Sharon directly assuring the blonde bombshell that they definitely want her in the hive. “You can get back to bumbling! Thanks for bearing with us and hope you find your honey.” We can’t wait to find out who Sharon matches with.
AHA! @sharonstone, we at @bumble found your account, unblocked you, and ensured this won’t happen again. You can get back to Bumbling! Thanks for bearing with us and hope you find your honey.🐝
