Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Adds Byleth

Good news for those who have been waiting for the next DLC DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Yes, the next Fire Emblem’s Fighter- Byleth has finally made the entry to the Nintendo-exclusive character. The protagonist of 2019’s Fire Emblem: Three Houses- the Byleth is the fifth and final addition to the first Fighters Pass.

It seems like Nintendo continually growing its fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Recently, Smash director Masahiro Sakurai shared the 35-minute presentation that revealed the Byleth from the Fire Emblem: Three Houses with some surprises like new Mii costumes and even details on the next Fighters Pass.

Well, the Fire Emblem: Three Houses already joined the Nintendo Switch last summer, and now the Byleth, the hero of Three Houses, is joining the team from January 28, 2020. Just like Three Houses, there will be two options available to select male or female. The fighter also has access to a wide variety of Heroes Relics as weapons. The character is known as a “distance demon.” There is a bow that can be used for neutral attacks, sword for dash attacks, whip sword for flurry, and axe for down attacks with launch power. Well, there will be her final Progenitor God Ruptured Heaven, and Sothis. Also, the fighter will get some vivid color options based on the three house colors and Sothis.

You can get the Fighters Pass at $25, which includes four already-released fighters: Persona 5’s Joker, Dragon Quest’s Hero, the bear and bird duo Banjo and Kazooie, and Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard. If you already have these fighters and only want to get Byleth, then it will cost you only $6.

Once you buy the Byleth, you will also get the new stage with a number of familiar sights from the monastery. The Marketplace is occupied by Blue Lion House, the Reception Hall by Black Eagle House, and the Bridge by Golden Deer House. You can also use the Cathedral setting that houses some non-house members. Every few minutes, the location changes and you will be able to enjoy the new Fire Emblem music tracks while you are in action. There is also a new Spirit Board, which has some House Leaders and more famous Three Houses characters.
