Viewers are frustrated with 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6. However, the Potthast family topped the list for worst plot this season.
Viewers haven’t been shy about expressing their complaints about season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, and it turns out that the presence of the Potthast family is the number one source of fan disdain. Andrei and Libby Castravet have been receiving criticism over the past several episodes for their continued entitled, dramatic and arrogant antics. However, it is Libby’s entire family who ultimately is getting most on viewers’ nerves on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show.
Fans have complained about many plot lines for season 6, with the main issue being how repetitive and boring most of the featured couples are. Andrei, Libby and the Potthast family have not progressed from their season 5 drama. Andrei is still locked in drama with Libby’s brother Charlie and looking from handouts from her father Chuck. Meanwhile, the entire family appears to think that they are reality TV royalty. Viewers have called out the extent that family members get dressed up for family meetings and have slammed their arrogant and entitled attitudes.

One viewer posted a poll on Reddit to have users vote on six choices for “who is most annoying so far on Happily Ever After?” The poll revealed that the majority of viewers are sick of “The Potthast family existing on TV.” The entire family has been accused of mooching off of patriarch Chuck, while brother Charlie is also commonly criticized by fans. However, the entire family is known to get on people’s nerves. “This season is so fake, has Covid changed us, to now see through b******t?” one exasperated fan wrote. Others commented that all of the drama during season 6 has been disappointing. “I used to love 90DF. Been watching since the first episode. But it’s gotten so bad, I can’t make it through an episode without getting bored to tears anymore!” one viewer exclaimed.
Other plotlines that many viewers were annoyed by include “Angela medically fondled Deem” and “Natalie and Mike’s scripted drama.” Viewers were horrified by the inappropriate way Angela spoke with her doctor and flirted with the man during her weight loss surgery consultation. The married woman then giddy recounted being touched by the doctor during a professional examination of her breasts. Meanwhile, Mike and Natalie’s drama feels so stale and repetitive that many viewers believe it to be scripted. “Seriously, I’m the only one voting for that disgusting pig Angela?” one person commented. “Nah, i got you too. She is so inappropriate and trashy. I wish Mykel would go to a female doctor about his penis and talk to her the way she talked to the doctor. See how she acts,” another person wrote back.”
Though season 6 of Happily Ever After is being slammed by franchise fans, one couple has consistently ranked higher when it comes to popularity. Many viewers are interested in season 8 couple Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren. Though most viewers prefer when couples take time off between shows so that they can offer fresh storylines, Jovi and Yara jumped from season 8 to the spin-off show. However, the couple has a new perspective now that they are parents. Viewers enjoy watching Yara and Jovi take on the role of parents to their daughter Mylah, as well as view Jovi’s fan-favorite mother Gwen. In contrast, most of the other couples bring nothing new to the table on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6.
