The real cause of the death of Juice WRLD has been revealed recently by the officers. The young rapper died as a result of overdose Oxycodone and Codeine Toxicity according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office and he was pronounced dead on December 8th, 2019. His death was ruled as an accident at that time.
Juice, whose real name is Jared Anthony Higgins, had fled from California to Chicago’s Midway airport. As soon after landing, he suffered a seizer in the terminal. Paramedic transported him to the local hospital and then news of his death was confirmed at 3:14 AM of the day. Police and federal agents were already on the site waiting for the plane to land following the suspicions that he was in possession of contraband.
After searching his luggage on board, officials found 70 pounds of marijuana and six bottles of prescription codeine cough syrup. Investigators also confirmed that two 9 millimeter pistols and a third were found. The officials confirmed that it was around this time that the rapper began convulsing and he was then administered two doses of Narcan and police said Juice WRLD eventually woke up but still was non-responsive and bleeding from the mouth.
The latest reports also confirmed that no drug charges have been filed against any of the rapper’s entourage who were on the flight. The bottles of codeine and 70 pounds of Marijuana were found in suitcases without any name tags on them and the investigation is still remaining on-going.
The 21-year-old rapper had celebrated his birthday on December 2 of the month and passed six days after that. The funeral of the young hip hop star was held in Illinois on December 13, 2019.
