Twitter, the best social networking platform to share your thoughts with your followers around the world. The site is also available through an app for Android and iOS users. Recently, Twitter said that do not download the latest Twitter Android app version 8.28 from the Google Play Store.
But why Twitter is warning its users to don’t update to the latest version. If you use Twitter on Android, then you should not update the app to the latest version as the company warned itself don’t do this since several users stormed Twitter with the random crashing issue with the latest version of the Twitter Android app.
The company released the new Twitter 8.28 version to improve the performance of the Android app. But after updating the app to the latest version, many users started getting problems and reported the bug on Twitter as the app keeps crashing after 8.28 update. After hearing several complaints from its users, Twitter Support confirmed the big and said that they are working on it to solve the problem as soon as possible.
Here’s what Twitter wrote: “We’re investigating a problem with the latest version of our Android app that causes it to crash immediately once it’s opened. If you use Twitter for Android, we suggest not updating it until we let you know it’s fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience!”

Please answer this question about the Twitter App for Android phones.
What is the problem with it? Why does it keep stopping on the Android phone?— Terry Marvin (@terrymarvin63) January 22, 2020
So if you have not updated your Twitter Android app to the latest version, then we suggest you do not do that now. It would help if you also disabled the auto-update from the Google Play Store.
In a case, if you have updated the app to the latest version and its keeps crashing, then you can try to clear caches in the Settings. Also, if you got annoyed with the Twitter crashing, then you can uninstall the app and download the previous Twitter Apk v8.24.1. Meanwhile, Twitter is investigating the issue and release the new update to fix the Twitter crash issue; you can use this older version to enjoy this micro-blogging platform.
