CLEVELAND — Two Cleveland Cops had been arrested Friday on a number of misdemeanor costs.
Patrol Officer Harvey Andrekovic, 47, was charged with Dereliction of Obligation, Obstruction of Official Enterprise and Civil Rights Violation and Patrol Officer Jason Rees, 33, was charged with Dereliction of Obligation, Obstruction of Official Enterprise and Civil Rights Violation.
The costs are a results of the 2 officers failing to correctly report and doc an assault and automotive crash on August 22, 2020.
Each officers have been positioned on on restricted responsibility with no contact with the general public pending the result of the prison case.
The investigation was carried out by the Cleveland Division of Police Inner Affairs Unit and the findings had been submitted to the Metropolis of Cleveland Prosecutor’s Workplace.
On the time of the incident, each officers had been assigned to Primary Patrol within the Fifth District. Andrekovic joined the power in 2011 and Rees was employed in 2018.
