When will the high winds stop in Ohio?

All of Northeast Ohio is beneath some kind of wind-related climate alert for Sunday, Nov. 15.

CLEVELAND — It’s going to be a really windy day all through all the state of Ohio. That’s why the Nationwide Climate Service has activated a collection of wind-related alerts for Sunday.

“Gusty winds might blow round unsecured objects,” the Nationwide Climate Service warns. “Tree limbs might be blown down and some energy outages might end result.”

Within the Excessive Wind Warning alert areas, the Nationwide Climate Service says to count on southwest winds of 20-30 mph with gusts as much as 60 mph attainable.

The counties beneath a WIND ADVISORY can count on winds from 20-25 mph with gusts as much as 55 mph attainable.

The Ohio Turnpike, in the meantime, has issued a journey ban for bigger automobiles between exit 25 (Archbold-Fayette / SR 66) to exit 187 (Streetsboro / I-480 & SR 14) from 11 a.m. till 6 p.m. Sunday. The ban is in impact for each eastbound / westbound journey for the next forms of automobiles:
