Will minimum wage go up to $15 per hour? Democrats introduce bill

WASHINGTON — There’s a brand new push to extend the federal minimal wage to $15 per hour. U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio has joined different high Democrats to introduce the Increase the Wage Act of 2021.

Sen. Brown’s workplace mentioned the invoice “would step by step improve the federal minimal wage to $15 by 2025.” That hike would greater than double the present federal minimal wage of $7.25 per hour.
