Yellowstone has been officially renewed for a fourth season, according to TVLine. The show premiered on Paramount Network in September.
It was early this year when the fourth season of the neo-Western, which follows the Dutton family, came to a close.
Because of the show’s widespread appeal and the fact that the Season 4 finale finished with a bang that had us on the edge of our seats, we were not surprised to learn of the cancellation of the series.
Kathryn Kelly and Jen Landon have both been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming season, according to TVLine’s sources.
The ensemble of Yellowstone was just nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Drama Ensemble, which is one of the two most prestigious awards presented by the SAG.
Twenty-one actors from the programme are featured in the list, including series lead Kevin Costner, all of the Dutton children, and series co-creator Taylor Sheridan, who also appears as a guest star on the show.
The nomination is for Outstanding Drama Series. The 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be shown on TNT and TBS on Sunday, February 27 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
The following information will provide you with all of the information you need to know about what happened in Yellowstone Season 4, how you can catch up, and how to see the prequel film, 1883.
Yellowstone Season 4 Cast
Season 4 introduces a slew of new characters, including Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook, Bird Box), who plays Caroline Warner, the CEO of Market Equities, who makes her television debut.
Against John Dutton, she is attempting to weaken his grip on all of the ranch land he owns in Montana, which he controls.
As Summer Higgins, Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs, Coyote Ugly) joins the cast as a Portland-based protestor who is opposed to the state-funded police force that protects industrialized farming and the slaughter of animals.
Emily is played by Kathryn Kelly (Nashville, Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings), a vet tech who develops feelings for a new Dutton ranch cowboy.
Carter is played by Finn Little (Storm Child, Angel of Mine), a young boy who is taken in by the Dutton family.
He reminds Beth of a young Rip (Cole Hauser), and she believes that the ranch is the perfect location to give him a lesson about what it is to be a real man.
What to Expect on Release Day and How to Watch?
Yellowstone Season 4 began on the Paramount Network on Sunday, November 7, with two episodes airing back-to-back.

When Will the Yellowstone Season 4 Premiere?
Paramount Network has officially confirmed that Yellowstone season 4 will launch with a two-hour special event on Sunday, November 7 at 8 p.m. ET on Paramount Network, following months of speculation.
Even before the third season of the blockbuster western drama was released, Paramount Network revealed that it has already ordered a fourth season of the show.
Filming was initially scheduled to begin in June 2020. However, it was forced to be postponed owing to the global pandemic that year.
Filming for season 4 of The Duttons began in late August, with the set for the Dutton farmhouse, Chief Joseph Ranch, announcing through Instagram in November 2020 that production on the season had concluded.
It was announced in July that the programme will return in the autumn with the slogan “Revenge will be worth the wait” and a teaser trailer (which you can see below) for the upcoming season, which you can watch below.

Is Season 4 the Last Season of the Series?
No future Yellowstone seasons have been confirmed, but there has also been no hint that season 4 would be the final season of this popular television series.
According to an interview conducted in March 2021, actor Cole Hauser (who was sporting his natural light hair at the time) fuelled fans’ expectations for more Duttons by revealing that season 5 was already in the works.
It’s now in the works, according to [showrunner and writer Taylor Sheridan],” he told Kathryn Hall at a Hall Wines happy hour talk. “Season five is going to be absolutely fantastic.
The way we closed season four—I can’t say too much about it because I don’t want to give anything away, but the way season four concludes, I think the viewers… will be pleasantly pleased.”
He reaffirmed his predictions for a second season, saying, “I think we’ll be back.” “For us as performers, and I believe I can speak for everyone, it is important that we work together. The current year marks the beginning of our fifth year together.”
